i am using an iMac 27" with MacOS Catalina 10.15.1. Today I noticed that when I search a website for an unique token (as an example, 1234), and the token is not found the search window turns red but the sound no longer is used. Notices from Outlook and Chrome work fine.

Any thoughts? I ndo a ot of searches and the audio notification was a great way to get my attention.

Do you have accessibility.typeaheadfind.enablesound set to false in about:config?

I cannot find where accessibility.typeaheadfind.enablesound is locted.

Sorry about that. Type "about:config" without the quotes in your URL bar, hit enter, then search for " accessibility.typeaheadfind.enablesound " and see what the setting is set to

set it to enabled and see if that fixes your issue

Options are True and False. I tried both and no change.

are you saying that when searching some token from current page, there is no beep and flushing of the window?

I'm a little bit confused. What does "Notices from Outlook and Chrome work fine." mean?
