Firefox cannot load pages after connecting to a different network

My setup: Laptop with OpenSuse 15.1 x64 and FireFox as default browser.

Issue: I often move around and have noticed if I'm using FF on my laptop connected to an office WiFi, I then close my laptop (i.e. close the lid) and then re-open the laptop at home, connect to the home WiFi - FF stop working. It shows connection error when trying to refresh pages I had open at work and it shows the same error when opening new pages.

If i do killall firefox and start FF again - it then works as intended.
