you tube video too large in full screen

Since the last update when the video in full screen is too large, I mean it's cutting the top and the bottom of the video. Is there anything that can be done about it? Thank you in advance

I have the opposite problem; videos will not change to landscape mode on YouTube without turning on autorotation. This is not a problem on other video sites and it just started about two weeks ago.
