AUSKEY in Australia is a tool for accessing the Australian Tax Office - Firefox does not fupport this add on

I have been trying to use AUSkey on Firefox for some time. I constantly receive error messages. I need to use AUSkey add on for contact with the Australian Tax office. having a browser that doesn't support AUSkey is no use. Has anyone found a solution other than Google Chrome.

Hi Graham4184, as you may know, a critical certificate related to verifying extension signatures expired this weekend, knocking out a lot of extensions. Can you confirm that your Firefox does not have this problem by looking for any error message on the Add-ons page related to unverified or legacy extensions? Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
  • type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return

In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions.

Then on the right side, near the top, do you see any messages about "missing" things or other indications that the list below is incomplete?

If there's no message, are all five of your extensions listed? You shared these names with the forum:

  • hotfix-update-xpi-intermediate 1.0.2 (hotfix-update-xpi-intermediate@mozilla.com)
  • uBlock Origin 1.18.6 (uBlock0@raymondhill.net)
  • AUSkey for Firefox 1.0.0 (@auskey_for_firefox) (Inactive)
  • AVG Web TuneUp 4.3.9.7 (avg@toolbar) (Inactive)
  • Bing Search 1.0.0.8 (bingsearch.full@microsoft.com) (Inactive)

If that isn't the problem, could you check with the publisher about whether they are aware of any issues running their extension in Firefox 66?
