Hi,

It seems the max-connections per-proxy setting is ignored. Bug or feature ?

Please note also that, since http pipelining has been removed, proxies receive A LOT of connections.

Please comment on this thank you

Where are you applying this at? And the proxy your using - that isn't a FF issue here but a proxy problem.

There is only this network*proxy pref for proxies that applies to the connection:

  • network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy

You are right, we use to have such a setting, it's not the case anymore. and the behaviour is now scary : FF opens sometimes more than 300 connections to the proxy PER TAB, without pipelining. Indenpendant of the proxy.

Chrome is acting differently : max 32 conns.

Could you please comment on the fact that FF isn't proxy friendly
