tracking protection disappearing
hi , another problem i having recently with firefox is that the tracking protection disappear randomly whitout being me to deactivate it , basically the shield icon disappear too , i'm using this feature also for block ads but since of this problem when the shield and protecion disappear i have to restart firefox any way for solve this ? basically i want that the tracking protection will not diasappear by itself randomly...thanks and sorry for bad english
p.s. i'm still waiting also for an help for the redirect problem posted on the other topic if possible...

Because you're insisting on using an old version of Firefox (The current version is 61, 18 versions past what you want to use) we don't know if there are weird bugs or issues with Tracking protection in 42. since it's not supported anymore, we can't really do anything about it.
You could use 52, and then we could ask for example sites where you think tracking protection isn't working. But there's no point with 43

the tracking protection doesn't work on all sites on the new firefox also on sites where firefix 43 have it also if randomly disappear
If the Tracking Protection shield icon isn't present then this means that there is currently no content that could be blocked by TP present on the page. If you click the Control Center 'i' icon then you should see a message to confirm this (No tracking element detected on this page).
You can always check the Web Console for messages about what content is blocked.

the problem is infact that the shield disappear on site where it was active , just randomply disappears and for make it appear again i have to restart firefox which is very annoiying, especially if i have many pages/tab opened at the same time
Do you have content blocking extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin)? The shield icon can disappear when other extensions get active and have removed content at an earlier stage before it reaches Tracking Protection, so TP doesn't see this content.
