Why is the save email reply in current folder button absent in "Copies and Folders"

In past versions of Thunderbird on a Mac I could save email replies in the current folder by checking a box in the "Copies in Folders" dialogue. However this button is absent in the latest version just installed on my new Mac. Is there a reason this button disappeared? I'm using version 45.4.0.
