Getting rid of Back Button Drop down box

I would like to disable the annoying drop-down box when clicking the back button. I do not wish to disable the back button, just get rid of the drop-down which doesn't allow you to continue until you click - one more time- in the main window.

I know there is a quick fix in the about:config, but it disables the back button, not what I wish to do. And I can use the backspace on my Mac to avoid the drop-down, but this is not efficient for my workflow.

If is an annoying improvement that should have been left out or at least give the ability to disable it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

hi szumwalt, this is no intentional change but a bug with the betterprivacy addon version 1.75 that you will have installed. please update it, as the addon developer has already released a fixed version: https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/betterprivacy/versions/

Thanks, that did the trick. I apologize to Mozilla for point the finger at them.
