Having imported my csv. address book, how do I get the name to 'autocomplete' in the 'To' line?

I have imported my address book as a .csv file, and I can list it in Thunderbird, but how do I get the 'To' line to autocomplete a name when I start a mail? I have just stopped 'Windows Live Mail' where I could type any part of an email address, and the whole address automatically appeared.
