Do you have problems with anything else?

Remove History For One Site Open the History Manager <Control><Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any passwords / settings.

I have no problems with other sites. I cleared everything in history manager and still have the issue.

I don't think it is my ISP...since I am able to get into other sites. It does the same thing if I am on wireless or on hard wire. I made sure the site is in my safe site list...etc. I talked with the website manager for that site and he couldn't figure it out. If it were just my computer I would kind of understand but it three different computers with three different windows versions.

Also I tried in other web browsers and still get the same results

Are you using HTTP or HTTPS?

http://www.ssa.gov/

https://www.ssa.gov/

Or does that make any difference?

if I dont use the secured https and try to use the http it automatically goes to https

Even my A+, Network+ and Security+ instructor is at a loss....

What are you using as firewall and anti-virus? Disable them as a test.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that helps.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

I can still get into the home page but cannot get into the sign in area at all.

I will try all the virus detection programs and see what happens ...I only used three of them so far

Can't you open the sign on page?

this is going to take awhile...I will report back tomorrow...thanks for everything so far....

cant open sign in page no matter which sign in area I use....I am still running virus scans etc....will need to go for now...I will be back tomorrow....thanks...

hello Cynthia5575,

Can you please try changing your DNS Server to Google DNS : 8.8.8.8 Alternate DNS to : 8.8.4.4

If you cant exactly figure that out, then

1) On your keyboard Windows Key + R ,which should bring up the RUN Dialogue Box. Type in ncpa.cpl .

2) Find your active connection, right click> properties>under Networking Tab > search for Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPV4) > select and click Properties > under General Tab> change to use the following DNS server addresses and then fill in the above ones

3) save the changes and restart the browsers

See if that helps.
