I want to add a new email to an existing group mailing list. I can delete but adding a new contact e-mail is not showing?

I have set up selected group e-mail lists. I have 2 issues.

1. All of a sudden existing group lists will not send to the participants. I have ad to recreate the same lists again for them to work.

2. I can deleted an e-mail from a group list but I do not see how to add an e-mail to an existing list without re-creating the whole group list again??
