I am using Firefox 125 in Windows 11. And this just happens recently.

Sometimes, quite frequently, when I click the addressbar wanting to input or select a new address. The Firefox UI freezes (before the dropdown list of addresses is shown). The video/audio/other effects are still working, and from task manager, it does not cost more CPU/mem than usual. But it does not response to key press or mouse action. All I can do (that I know of) is killing the processes. The problem does not seem related to "current" webpage I am browsing. And I have not installed new addons for a few months.

Any idea what should I look into?

I keep hitting sites where menus and selection boxes turn into unreadable Wing Dings? On W11 and cleared and rest the font cache in Windows and still repeatedly seeing the issue?

I was able to open reddit.com without any problems earlier, but recentrly I'm not able to load it up anymore. The loading screen is eternal and it doesnt show any kind of error (unless it tries to connect for too long like a couple of minutes, then the error does shows up). The site still sends me notificarions through the browser though. Any other site loads up without a problem. I tried to use methods mentioned in the help article (turned off proxy, turned on network.dns.disableIPv6, deleted cookies and cache). In other browsers (Edge, for example) reddit.com loads just fine. Please help me if you can.

hi the translate fucion in firefox is vry usefull, but i want to NOT TRANSLATE ANYTHING EXCEPT sites i select only

i.e. surfing around german site.. .leave it german, but i if i am interest in "german.de/talkshow" select it and translate only this

i see option to translate EVERYTHING and use some exception, but its the opposite of what looking for

I'm trying to determine if I'm having a Firefox issue or not. I've been using Firefox for many years and frequently use private windows.

I've got a new laptop with Windows 11 and have been noticing that my private windows are sometimes closing unexpectedly. After which, I can't get my tabs back. This has only happened with private windows, and not regular windows.

Is this an issue that's being reported in the community? Thanks.

Need help figuring out why Firefox has a memory leak after an extended use of Firefox browsing. Don't know if its the result of an extension having this issue, or if its a Firefox bug. This is almost surely a "security" or "privacy" design, but it's an error. In Firefox - only (this works fine in Chrome) - if I open the LastPass Firefox Extension, find a Site, and Copy the password, then go directly to an open AnyDesk remote access connection, and Paste (or, lightning bolt menu, Insert from Clipboard), what gets pasted is a single wrong character, NOT the password that IS in the clipboard. (If I paste instead into e.g. a local Notepad window, the actual password gets pasted). I asked AnyDesk support about this, and they confirmed that it's something that Firefox is doing. It shouldn't. Copy is copy. Paste is paste. Why would Firefox do something so that copied text (which just happens to be a password from a password vault extension) pastes wrong when the destination just happens to be a remote desktop client (AnyDesk) to send the password through to complete a login at the remote end? Anyway, how to turn off this wrong behaviour? thank you. (Windows 11 Pro, 64-bit, 23H2, Firefox current - 125.something today, but this has been going on for some weeks at least, AnyDesk version 8 current)

I post or write something on my homepage. I then want to share my post to groups I belong to. I hit the share button and get this new and poorly designed response to share. I go to the 'group' share icon. It then lists the groups I'm a member of. So far so good. I then click on one of my groups that I want to share the post with. I get a response, like previously before this new change, allowing to write something to the group along with the post/image I want to share. But there is no 'share' button that allows me to share the post. When this hideous new change came into effect there was a sliver of blue at the bottom, obviously from the share button, and clicking on this allowed me to share my post. Unfortunately, the next day when I attempted to share my post, the blue sliver disappeared and there was no way I could share it to a group. For some reason I cannot take a screenshot of what I'm writing about. Your thoughts?

I deleted the old user names and passwords associated with my bank account. Now I can no longer login to my bank acct using Firefox. Only with another browser.

I tried to uninstall then reinstall Firefox but the problem continues. What to do now to login to my bank account?

I have used firefox for years as my browser with my home page set to google. I have always had a bookmarks toolbar but never a bookmarks side bar and do not want one. The other day a bookmarks side bar suddenly appeared. I have moved it from left side to right side and can delete it temporarily by using CTRL +B, but can't find a way to permanently remove it, i.e. make the default setting so that the side bar doesn't appear. can you help?

The file icons on by desktop were always the standard color but now the are blue and white why did this happen. I know I can change each one back individually but how can I change them in mass.

Hello i work on fesco bill website and Experiencing trouble with my site's responsiveness on Firefox. Seeking advice and solutions from the community. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

I've had this issue ever since switching to a new laptop. This issue is specifically within Firefox (I have tested this in other browsers and programs, and the issue isn't there. Everything else works perfectly fine!)

Essentially, whenever Firefox plays multiple sounds at the same time (for example, I use both youtube and discord in-browser) the second sound will briefly mute the other sound. (Going back to the discord-youtube example, if I am watching a youtube video and recieve a discord notification, the youtube video will pause for about half a second.) Or if a site has background audio but also plays a short audio clip when certain elements are clicked, for example, it will cause this "overlapping" issue. Again, this issue is only within Firefox.

I am using Windows 11 if that helps. I've already tried using a Firefox Refresh and peeking in about:config but I'm totally lost as to what I can try next, since I can't find any other examples of people with this issue online. Sometimes the issue briefly fixes itself but then reappears.

My yahoo homepage on firefox looks totally different than it did last week. Chrome and edge still look like the home page should but firefox does not. I screen shared with yahoo and they said it was a firefox issue. Anyone know how to make the homepage look like chromes and edge? I added pics from edge and firefox for comparison.

Everytime i try to watch a video it says it can't play or it just sits there buffering. Youtube works but only lower quality, but every other site i go on doesn't. Twitch won't load, other sites show Error Code: 102630. This is only a problem on my browser on my windows pc I have. On mobile the browser works great and has no problem showing videos so it a problem for my pc browser.. I've tried all of the steps, i've updated, i checked drm and even went into config to check there. But nothing works, it still can't load videos. I have version 125.0.3 and for me it's the latest one. I even turned off all of my add-ons to check if it works or not but nothing there either. It worked before, just now the latest two months it hasn't. What can I do in order for the videos to load? Thank you for your time.
