Firefox updated on my macbook pro running Sequoia 15.5 but failed to restore my previously open windows. The option to restore previous session was missing. How can I get my previously open windows back, bearing in mind I'm not not a computer nerd? Thank you, Edouard.

I have noai.duckduckgo.com set as my default search engine. Almost always (but not quite every time) when I type anything into the address/search bar, I get a page with a "Server Not Found" error. (See attached image.) Refreshing the page immediately brings up the results without issue, but I consistently get the error first.

Oddly, if I go into settings and switch to a different search engine and then switch back to duckduckgo, the issue will briefly resolve and it'll work fine for a short while... and then I start getting the error again.

Is there any way to fix this?

On all other browsers the drop down menus still show after first use, except in Firefox - where after first use they disappear and you have to go back to Home to re-show them.

I have tried the suggestions give for configuring the site iin Elementor/Wordpress but none have solved the problem and I can only assume the answer lies in Firefox settings.

Lately, on certain websites, like Fox News - I open a tab in a new link and it just spins.

Today, I just tried to register an account with a glass company, and I hit the button to register, and nothing happened.

Yesterday on a different site, I went to place an order, and everything grayed out and it just stayed like that.

What do I need to adjust in order for this to stop happening?

Hey everyone!

I just noticed that post FF's 150 update, I can no longer drag and drop folders into my DSM window. This has been a non issue for over 6 years and all of a sudden, poof. I did find that you can still to this on Safari, but long term, Mozilla and Synology need to address this. There's already a post on the Synology fourms about it and I've emailed their Support Team to see what they have to day. Posting this here in case anyone has found a workaround in the Config settings pane.

When I select a line of text, normally it would get deleted/overwritten when typing a new line of text, but when I select text in Firefox and begin typing again, it simply deletes the first word in the selection and keeps the rest. Is there a setting to have ALL text selected deleted/overwritten when new text is entered? Selecting one word overwrites the whole word but when an entire line to be deleted is selected, only the first word is deleted and typing begins where that word ends.

I keep most of my bookmarks under the "Bookmarks Toolbar"; I have quite a few of them.

I've always enjoyed the ease and utility of the "Add Folder..." menu item in "Manage Bookmarks", but now it fails on each and every attempt to add a new folder! For example, if I select a folder under "Bookmarks Toolbar", right click that folder, and select the "Add new folder..." item from the drop-down menu Firefox simply "freezes up" - becomes totally non-responsive (spinning beach ball!).

The only way I've been able to recover is using the macOS "Activity Monitor" to "Force Quit" Firefox! If I repeat the "Add Folder..." process described above - Firefox "freezes up" again. I've tried re-booting, and that doesn't cure the problem.

Without trying to confuse the primary issue, I have noticed other "bad behavior" from Firefox:

1. 1. Firefox "disappears" from the menu bar regularly. I can get it back by moving to another desktop, and returning to the desktop with my Firefox windows. However, it will disappear again in short order.

1. 2. Firefox is very slow loading some of the web pages I visit regularly.

When did this start? It started very recently. I have a new (about two weeks old) MacBook Pro. The "Add Bookmark.." issue began only today, but the other issues I mentioned have been around longer.

This is frustrating... I suspect this is caused by Apple's macOS software, but of course have no way to prove that! And in the "FWIW Column": my Chrome browser has basically the same function and interface for adding folders, and it still functions flawlessly.

Firefox has been my default browser on Mac IOS for several years. I update Firefox regularly, the last being several days ago. I've recently had problems with Firefox freezing as I sometimes manually log-in to Amazon. All other tabs are affected. I have to quit, reopen.

  It is now affecting my purchases on Amazon.  I'm asked to provide a security code from my bank to complete the purchase. The code is initially accepted, but quickly the purchase is rejected by Amazon. Both Amazon and my bank said that there were no blocks on my account.
  I subsequently went to Safari, where I have no problems whatsoever with Amazon. Amazon has not asked me for a bank code to domplete the purchase.
  I think the problem is in my Settings, but it all looks okay. Cookies are cleared. Suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Since latest update when trying to view pages with artwork on them I get a message that the page is slowing down Firefox and asks me if I want to stop the page to speed up the browser. I do not want to stop the page so I click the X, but Firefox refuses to load the pages at all anyway! I can no longer view many sites due to this issue. Please get rid of this awful code! Thanks.

Two days ago while using Firefox my interface/window changed. Whereas before I could have many, many tabs opened across the top of my window, suddenly they are gone. I now have one place where I can put in my new search and no ability to easily access formerly opened tabs. So if I am in my gmail account I can open different tabs/searches and go back and forth between them and my gmail or between search and search. I like to keep open tabs that I want to return to easily - things I haven't completed reading, things I need to get back to to fill out something, etc. Now I can't get to them easily. I know that there is a history, but I am may be wanting to find a tab that I opened two weeks ago and don't remember the date or the name. If they were still opened in this bar across the top (and I am not referring here to bookmarks), I can find them. When I no longer want them opened I delete them. I don't know if this problem is due to the recent Firefox update or if I did something by mistake that caused this. It is making my use of Firefox as my browser very cumbersome and impractical. I also can't spend hours and hours reading through Firefox materials to see if I can find a way out of this problem. Ideally, if I could speak to an actual help desk person, that would be great. I am an 80 year old woman who would like to be able to keep up with all my interests and activities and not being able to use Firefox in the way that I have will really be an obstacle. I was able to use Firefox for Animoto then for some unknown reason my project disappeared. I can access on Safari. When I try to open Animoto.com in Firefox a page comes up with My Projects page plus Animoto's Create a video and that is all that shows, the page is inactive. Same when I try to log in to my account. My computer is MacBook Pro Tahoe 26.3. I would be very grateful for a solution.

Going to enter payment method on website and the auto filled credit cards queue up, when a card is sellected and clicked it will not fill in on the website. They area but will not load on the website

I went into settings and searched passwords. then clicked onto saved passwords and tried removing what I thought was the password for a site. However when I log into the site the password continues to autofill. I'm wondering if I'm not getting to the right spot to deal with autofilling passwords?
