My old hard drive died I couldn't recover it. I cannot mount the disk to another OS etc. The session files cannot be retrived. However I had over 100 tabs open in Firefox I want to retrieve before the disk crashed. I was signed in to firefox all the time in the old computer.

I now have a new computer, I signed in to firefox and I can recover the bookmarks. But I don't see any option to recover the lots of tabs and sessions from my previous dead disk. It seems there is tab sync options between 2 devices that is concurrently signed in. But I can't sign in to a dead disk. I also can't recover the file.

How can I reteive my old sessions with many tabs? I'm hoping firefox have a way of knowing all my tabs since I was signed in and sync before the disk crash.

I have a problem after open my browser with a specific profile and configure the settings about:preferences#privacy, clear history when leaving Firefox is checked, Firefox processes are not completely stopped and cumulate if the operation is replayed.

In the about:config in search fission i have three lines: - "fission.experiment.max-origins.last-disqualified" - "fission.experiment.max-origins.last-qualified" - "fission.experiment.max-origins.qualified"

Could it be the cause?

Hi, i formatted my pc and upgraded to windows 11 but before that i synced all my bookmarks of previous firefox to my account but after i downloaded firefox on windows 11 and signed in with my account the bookmarks doesn't import automatically but it is asking me to import from other browsers like chrome on which i have different bookmarks and i want my firefox bookmarks back why is it not seemless like google chrome.

Bought a new computer. All my toolbar bookmarks migrated across successfully. Sidebar symbol missing from the menu bar and I couldn't find where these Book Marks were at first. But then I right clicked on the menu bar, clicked on Manage Book Marks which opened a Library box and there they were. Does anyone know an easier way to access them please? Sometimes, when I try loading a webpage that uses WebGL, the WebGL elements won't display and it'll show a black area where the elements would be, and the only way to fix it is to restart Firefox. This doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough to be super annoying.

How do I get my bookmarks working? I have hundreds of them over the years and now cannot access any of them. I don't know what sync or .squigle is. Please help.

Running Win 11 Pro with the Firefox - 64 bit - All updated per June 9th.

ISSUE: Website tells me I have an 'add blocker' or the product 'addblocker' installed. I don't. However I get blocked even viewing my own website: fleksjobbernetvaerket.dk .... and others as well.... It's full of Google ads.

SOLUTION: I searched for how to solve this, but none of it is working, not even re-setting or re-installing Firefox, emptying cache, files and folders. I kinda gave up on this.

This salesforce site is working in safari, chrome and edge but it is not working in the latest Firefox browser. It crashes after getting stuck for minutes. Is this technology not supported by Firefox?

I have tried to find solutions to this and have not found anything to be a permanent fix. I recently have found my FireFox browser closing my first attempt to open and upon opening my second attempt Firefox will open but give me a pink address bar with a robot stating "browser is under remote control (reason: Dev Tools)" and the only thing that seems to get rid of this temporarily is going to my control panel (I'm a windows user) and toggling the remote assistance checkbox (I keep it unchecked since this problem has occurred). Then after re-opening Firefox again, it appears to work normally - no pink address bar with robot. Is there a permanent fix for this? Is it an OS issue or a Firefox issue? Maybe both? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I am fairly tech savvy, but not too familiar with browser interfaces and solutions involving the command line.

I have 228 kb of cached web content that refuses to clear. Say there is 1.5 mb cached, and when I clear, the 228 kb is still there. It interferes with a web site I visit. Please help me get rid of this! Thanks in advance.

Have used Firefox for decades and suddenly it is having problems. If I surf around and have a few tabs open, some of them might crash. Firefox tries to restore them and sometimes it works and sometimes they just crash again immediately. I can go to Amazon and the page won't load completely so I can't do anything. If I try and close Firefox it won't close, it is frozen. And often, pages just load very slowly even though my internet connection is strong. This just started about a month or so ago. I have refreshed Firefox, updated it, and checked the systems on my computer. All my internal diagnostics returned "no issues." So it has to be the program.

Video in Firefox does not run .. no error messages .. nothing. It works fine in other browsers. When I click on the video .. nothing happens. It used to work but not now and I don't think I've changed anything.

I cannot get the print button to work in my emails. I used to be able to close Firefox and re-open and then it would work, but today that did not work. I shut down my computer completely and still it does not work. I am attaching a snip of the screen showing the print button.

Hi ... the Firefox icon opens windows explorer instead of Firefox. I would prefer firefox, but I am forced to use Edge instead. Oh, I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times.

How does one fix this problem?
