How to remove google search from the address bar on the right?????

I want to find my most visited websites in the address bar without any unnecessary actions!!!

Either removing certain ones I don't care about or getting ones back I may have already taken out?

I don't see either of those functions any more but I swear there was a way to do it just a month ago.

Usually there would be some shortcuts when I open new tab page. But they were gone on the new page from yesterday. Of course I didn't change setting and didn't install any add-ons. I disabled all add-ons. But problem not solved.

I checked 'preferences-home-Firefox home contents', but I cannot see any options(that area is just empty).

I also checked 'about:config' :

• browser.newtabpage.enabled → true
• browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.feeds.section.topstories → true
• browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.showSearch → true

And I compared between 'about:newtab' and 'about:blank'. I found something that background color of new page are different. There are some HTML code in 'about:newtab' when I use F12. But I don't know what is wrong with this.

Firefox 147.0.2 (64-bit) on my Lenovo Yoga 7 Windows 11 Home has been randomly malfunctioning when i use the hover over tabs with the mouse to show what is in the tab (small image) Sometimes it just fails for several hours, other times it works fine on its own later that same day.

I have tried to find this inside the browser several times with trying to find this browser-tabs-card-Preview-enabled inside about:config But it doesn't seem to exist in this version and apparently you can't add a new rule inside the browser to solve it.

Google AI solutions search is outdated or the wrong version. My computer and browser are up to date. How do i fix this ? I don't want to uninstall it, lose my logins and the bookmarks if i am unable to sync my files after trying to reinstall the browser only to find out it has failed.

I am not aware of having adblock. I have looked in settings and don't see it on but Angels Gifts won't let me collect my game pieces because it says it detects adblock. I looked in extensions and don't see it. what should I do?

When opening Firefox version 147 it asked if I wanted to install updates and after answering affirmative, then it gave "Error: Platform version '147.03' is not compatible with minversion >=147.02 maxversion <=147.02. Maybe try to reinstall Firefox?" The browser will not open. What is the workaround??

The title says it all. I use Firefox on my home computer with Windows 10, and my work laptop using Windows 11. At home, URLs do not autocomplete when typing them in--settings are all on for this to work properly, and it used to work properly, but it does not work at all. At work, URLs complete just fine.

so i had a bunch of bookmarks saved, and when i logged in today they are gone, replaced with a message For quick access, place your bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar. manage bookmarks (link)

so when I use the link I cant restore bookmarks, cant seem to save new bookmarks, and the FAQ section isnt helping, some of the stps they talk about are greyed out in my version, so I cant click on them etc.

Is this a windows 10 issue? Am I the only one having this problem?

I recently updated Firefox on my computer. After that, I can't find my old Bookmarks.

Also I find that I am UNABLE to add any new Bookmark. When I click on the 'Star' in the browser toolbar, there is nothing. Before I used to Get the Add Bookmark tab and a place to SAVE, now there is nothing.

Even after I type in the URL in the address bar, and open up the required page, I am unable to Add it to my Bookmarks.

Good morning. I opened up Firefox this morning and all 4 rows of shortcuts were missing. I have gone into settings and made sure the settings for 4 rows was still the same. I cannot find them anywhere. Please help

Hi, I’m facing an issue with Mozilla Firefox where some websites load very slowly, and sometimes pages don’t open completely or show loading forever.

I’ve already tried restarting the browser and checking my internet connection, but the problem still happens randomly. Other browsers seem to work fine on the same network.

Can anyone guide me on what could be causing this issue? Are there any Firefox settings, cache options, or add-ons I should check to fix this problem?

After the last system update, I now am being asked to enter my "Primary password", every time I open a new page. When I try entering a password , it is not recognized and I have to click on cancel in order to proceed. I have used what I recall was my password but it is recognized, but I don't get a message telling me it is the wrong password. How can I get back to the previous version that did not ask for my Password. Is that an option?
