Applications showing in Settings, General in Firefox

I completely removed a program from my computer several days ago. The program name still shows in Firefox, settings, general, applications. The program is showing in the applications section in content type and then action shows to the right of the content type. How do I completely remove the program name that is still showing in Firefox, Settings, General, Applications? If I need to go to the registry could you please tell me how to locate it in the registry? Thank you

You may have to edit handlers.json in the profile folder to remove this action. Be careful not to corrupt the JSON format, you can open the file in a tab to check your edits with the JSON viewer.

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).
