I need to go back to a history page to print a file that was erased on a website

I am working on a blackboard website for Princeton review and a score to my test was erased. I am trying to see if Firefox has saved the or archived the page as it was because it did with some of the others. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Depending on your Firefox settings, Firefox will save some files from the websites that you visit into your cache. Your cache is used so that when you revisit a website, Firefox will not need to download all of the website assets again, thus improving loading time.

Although it can sometimes be possible to view a website from the cache, there are multiple instances where this will not be possible. These may include:

  • If you emptied your cache or temporary files
  • If your cache has exceeded the size restriction on your system
  • If the website has disabled browser caching
  • If the website requires a secure login
  • If your cache has become damaged

You can also explore various online archiving services which may have saved a version of the website that you are looking for. CachedView.com is a great tool for viewing archived versions of websites. Simply enter the URL of the website into CachedView.com.
