is firefox 7.0.1 out of date

When I go to the mozilla support page here: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/home

it tells me that: "Warning: You're using an insecure version of Firefox. To keep your computer and personal information safe, please update to the latest version of Firefox."

But what I wanted to know is, has Mozilla stop support of this version or do I need to upgrade my browser? However, when I select check for updates in firefox, theres no other updates.

hello mazzax, yes version 7.0.1 is out of date and no longer supported. it is affected by various known security security vulnerabilities, a number of them highly critical. please download the current firefox version 13.0.1 and install it on top of your current setup as soon as possible.
