Why wont Firefox find a website after I hit enter after typing the address in. THe only way I can look for sites now is to use google for every website.
I type the address into Firefox address bar and hit enter but nothing happens. Firefox does not even try to load the website I've requested. The only way I can use the browser is to use google (was set as my home page) and type in there the site I want.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
