When leaving Firefox open throughout the day, my memory usage gradually climbs from 800Mb up to 1500 Mb with little or no activity. I am using v10.0 on a PC with XP SP3.0 and Pandora is on during the day.

Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I am having the same problem, i restarted ff in safe mode and it still climbs while listening to pandora
