Firefox restores tabs after crash when I told it not to.

Sometimes a bad website will cause firefox to lockup, so I have to use the task manager to kill it. I then restart it and it goes right back to the same bad site and locks up again. It eventually becomes usable, but I'd rather just have it come up with one tab set to my homepage.

I've set tools->options->"When Firefox Starts" to "Show my homepage", but that hasn't solved the problem.

How do I make firefox *always* start with a single tab set to my homepage?

Thanks j_alan

Your other question:

In the General tab where you mentioned "Show My Home page", click the button called "Restore to Default".

Xircal, Thanks for the reply.

This will stop the tabs from coming back again after a crash? It didn't change "Show My Home Page" to anything else, it just changed what the home page is.

When I set it back to my personal home page, will that make the tabs come back again? Can't really test this as it's the cause is a rather random thing.

Thanks!
