I am experiencing a conflict when using my Gmail account with Thunderbird. The error message is login to smtp.gmail.com server using rjasbra95@gmail.com failed. Enter new password.

I have changed the password multiple times in Gmail and tried each new password in Thunderbird. How do I recover or change the saved password on the smtp.gmail.com server? No problems with Gmail on my IPhone and iPad. Thanks.

Please post your Troubleshooting Information. At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button , then select Help > Troubleshooting Information. Press the "Copy text to clipboard button" and paste the information into your reply.
