Can I restore old profile after upgrade to TB 78.4

I just installed the update to TB 78.4. It breaks some add-ons I need and has some other problems. I tried to re-install an older version but I got a message that the latest update made incompatible changes to my profile. Is there any way I can restore the old profile? TB should really warn people before making a change like that.

Close TB, open a Run window (Windowskey+R), type thunderbird.exe -p --allow-downgrade then select the relevant profile.
