I do not like using google for anything, so why do I have to create a google account and log into their play store, just to be able to get the firefox browser on my phone? Can't I download Firefox onto my phone directly from Mozilla?

hi, firefox is also available in alternative markets like f-droid. for other download methods like a direct download from mozilla, please refer to https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android
