I keep being asked to click the tools button but there appears to be none in ff28.

Is there a tools option in ff28 when changes or adjustments is needed. I have noticed that support advice refers a lot to things that aren't there. If I am too much of a newbie and missed the obvious, my apologies. Otherwise please help. It would be a good idea to have a list of changes to options available for new migrants to firefox because it would be gutting to revert to IE or chrome. Thank you.

The "Tools" button should be on the Menu Bar. If you can't see the Menu bar do the following to get it back

  • Press the ALT key
  • Go to View > Toolbars > Customize
  • Click Restore Default Set
  • Click OK
