control add on
Safe Saver was inadvertently added as an add-on and I am unable to remove it permanently. I remove it via the add-on manager every time I turn on my PC and it reappears the next time I turn the PC back on. How can I be rid of it once and for all?

Seems like malware.
USE ALL THE PROGRAMS BELOW, ALL of them.
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
