My laptop fried and i had firefox sync setup to supposedly "back all my settings bookmarks for safe keeping" HOW do you resync all your information????????

i have lost ALL my saved passwords i have lost HUNDREDS of bookmarks

Do you know the email address you used when you originally set up Sync?

Do you know the password for that account?

Do you have the Sync Key / Recovery Key?

You need all three to set up the new device with your current Sync account.

BTW, Sync isn't really intended as a backup media, it is designed to synchronize Firefox data across multiple devices.

Well if that is all its meant for they should not say all your information is backed up securely
