I have a PC running 3.6.28.

When I go to Help->Check for updates. It says there are no updates.

My PC does not load new versions automatically it has to ask me.

Why is it not finding version 12 that I need to move to?

hello, in case the update is not detected, you can also download the full setup file for firefox 12 from www.getfirefox.com and install it over your current installation. all your bookmarks, passwords, etc will remain...

If you have xp sp1 you can not install Firefox 13.0 (the latest)
