How do I force pop-up windows to have full menus and toolbars?

Whenever you click on a link from a website which opens a pop-up window, it creates a Pop-up window with limited features. This is very confusing for novice computer users who often need to print out that page, but can't, because the menus and toolbars are gone.

Is there a setting or Firefox Extension to force pop-up windows to always have full menus and toolbars?

See --> http://kb.mozillazine.org/Prevent_websites_from_disabling_new_window_features

  • in Filter on the about:config display (see below) type dom.disable_window_open_feature
  • double-click the items that show a Value of "false" to change them to "true" (user set / bold).
  • the items already set to "true" are Firefox defaults and you do not need to change those

You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update as necessary:

Finally. I hate pop up windows with limited features, they are so pointless. This is so useful, all those about:config values should be true by default.
