Question After using Firefox and either using the X in the upper right corner or file, exit and attempt to reopen it, I get a message it is still running. I have even tried to use CTRL, ALT, DEL and use task managet to close firefox in the process window but that doesn't work either. The only way I found to fix the problem is to restart windowx XP Home. Is there something I am missing?

hmm, that should close it. after you close it is there anything in the taskbar running.

Maybe try starting it in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox, this would rule out an extension holding on to the process.
