When I use "customize" window to customize my tool bars and the close the window with the X instead of the "Done" button then it stays in customize mode and all my toolbars get messed up when I exit and reopen Firefox.
In order to fix it, I have to restart firefox and open customize again and click the "Restore Default Set" button. All my carefully customized toolbars are now gone! It is really maddening!

Get used to using the "Done" button instead of the "X".
