I install the add-on and restart Firefox, but it still doesn't install.

Whenever I install an add-on or download, it installs, right? But when I restart Firefox (like it asks me to), and it restarts... the add-on doesn't install. It just asks me to restart Firefox again.

This happened

I strongly suggest you file a bug about this matter or if you don't know how I could do it for you. I see you are using a beta version of Firefox I recommend you use 3.6.6 the current production version. Simply uninstall Firefox 3.6.7 and download Firefox 3.6.6 by following these instructions: How to download and install Firefox on Mac.
