When I re-installed my OS everything seemed to be working just fine. After a while (when firefox had updated itself) it stopped saving tabs and browser history. It does save the browser history while I'm using firefox, but as soon as I turn it of everything disappears. I've no problems with bookmarks or back/forward buttons.
