Latest update 115.12.0 is slow on linux
Your latest update has messed up my Thunderbird email client. Do you plan on fixing it?

Well, the updated version of thunderbird is extremely slower than 07/15/2024. In addition. I continue to receive error messages that the connection between thunderbird and Proton bridge is refused. However everything was fine before the update.

What is the version from Help>about menu? I presume you are using Windows?
115.12.0 (64-bit) Linux Mint 21.3 MATE
I am not familiar with Proton, but if you post the complete error message, someone else here may have suggestions. Posting screenshot of SMTP pane for the account may also be helpful.
Version 128, for the vast majority of users who have updated, is faster.
