My Thunderbird email is froze

About four days ago my email froze & asked for my password to activate imap.mail.yahoo.com. Everytime I enter my password it flags failed & asks for retry or new password. Finally I went directly to the yahoo mail site & logged in with the exact same password. If it works on yahoo mail but not on Thunderbird (anymore) I am at a loss. Can you help me? Thx, Doug

is your account setting set to use oauth authentication? If not set it to use it. Like everyone else I think Yahoo are starting to enforce it's use.
