Thundebird documents
I wanted to create a back-up storage for my emails as I reached the limit of number of emails. I downloaded Thundebird and set it as a default mail client. Then I downloaded all the emails and now I have approximately 7000 Thundebird documents.
The next step I want is to delete the inbox on my email (web browser) but I'm not sure how then I would search in the offline Thunder documents. After clearing the inbox in Thundebird (so that all the emails are deleted also in web browser mail) can I upload the offline Thundebird emails again to the inbox? (As I understood, it shouldn't get uploaded to web browser mail again - it's one way route, right?) So that I can easily use a search engine of Thundebird and not search one by one email in the offline form?
Or do you have better solutions?

If you copy the mail to Local Folders, and confirm the copy, messages can then be deleted from the server but still available in TB. Or, consider a 3rd-party archiving program like MailStore Home.
