
New version of Thunderbird only shows 2 printers available, Microsoft XPS Document Writer and Fax.
I had to have my computer cleaned off and everything reinstalled due to a hack. My old version of Thunderbird showed all of my printers. The reinstalled version only shows the printers in the subject heading. Why?

have you checked windows actually has any other printers installed? Normally that list is retrieved from windows so it is extremely unusual for it to be incomplete.
Matt Thinks for the reply. The 2 printers not shown in Thunderbird are shown elsewhere including Firefox and Office programs and one is set as default. For some reason, when I reloaded Thunderbird after my computer was cleaned off, it did not pick up these printers. What now? Thanks

Try:
'Menu icon (3 lines)' >'Options' > 'General' tab Scroll to the bottom Click on 'Config Editor' button Promise to be careful :) Enter the following into the search field: print_printer When that line appears, right click it and select Reset. close window
Restart Thunderbird.
