I'm using Windows 10 on a PC. It seems like the the problem occurred after I clicked on a link (one from Firefox) to refresh my tabs. It might be worth mentioning that the space is on the right side, not on the left; this may be because some of my open tabs are for Hebrew (right to left) sites. I've attached a screenshot. Many thanks.

Correction to the title of my question: The space between my far right tab and the right corner of my screen suddenly got bigger.
