How to remove Safe Finder plug in?
I recently downloaded Firefox using the Safari browser. Unfortunately, when I open the browser, all the screen shows is a search bar with the word "safe finder" above it, which I've learned is some sort of ad malware. I want to remove this, but no extensions/add ons are listed as part of Firefox when I go into Tools>Add-Ons. How can I remove this from my browser?

Hi &bsp; ! Of course you will want to get rid of this malware, and here's what you could try :
Go to the 3-bar menu => Addons => Extensions and look for any unfamiliar or suspicious looking extensions, like e.g.:
SafeSearch Incognito SearchAssist Incognito
When you find any : remove them.
Also look in : 3-bar menu (or 'Tools') => Options => Advanced => Network tab => Under : 'Offline Web Content and User Data'
However : most malware will be 'hiding' somewhere , so let's run malware scans :
