
Thunderbird 45.4 frequent Not Responding CAUSE: unknown (Solved itself)
After installing update 45.4.0, I'm receiving frequent Thunderbird Not Responding status. Typically clears itself in less than a minute, until the next time. Win 10 Home, 64 bit, plenty of RAM and storage.

Often this can be caused by antivirus not recognizing a version of Thunderbird - which it should be excluding from its scans. And sometimes you can solve the problem by installing from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/ rather than updating

As of now, TBird release 45.5.1 seems to have resolved my issue. Thanks very much.
