Downloaded and installed latest version of Mozilla Firefox. When it runs it only displays one tab and says "Problem loading page". What's going on?

Downloaded and installed latest version of Mozilla Firefox on a Windows 10 64 bit machine. When Mozilla runs only one tab appears and it says "Problem loading page", in the window itself it says "The address isn't valid". I've tried to run Options, but all it does is give me a tab with the title "Options". What's going on? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the problem computer to post this?

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
