Bookmarks still appear vertically if I click on Bookmarks tab, but when I click on a bookmark nothing happens. Any ideas on how to get them to work again?

All of sudden the bookmarks are not working. They all show up vertically when I click on the Bookmarks tab (between the History and Tools tabs) . However, once they all appear: if I then click on any one of the bookmarks, nothiing at all happens. So can't access any of the bookmarked websites using the Bookmarks function.

Any idea what I can do to get them to work again would be most appreciated.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder.
