import passwords into firefox

I got a new pc and exported my firefox (ver 42 i believe) bookmarks and passwords. I am setting up my new pc and have installed firefox v45.0.2 I imported my bookmarks just fine, but there is not option to import passwords into firefox than Internet Explorer or Msoft Edge ?

Any chance of importing the passwords or do I have to visit 247 websites and start over ??

How did you export your Firefox passwords?? If you used the following add-on, you can install it on your new Firefox and use its import feature: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/password-exporter/. If you used a different method, what method did you use?

IT WORKED !!!!

Thank you so much for your help. I totally forgot that I used an add-on to export the password file, I must have loaded it a couple years ago. 

I usually backup my bookmarks & passwords monthly.
