Firefox no longer opens following upgrade. ''Nvidia Forceware Network Access Manager'' Is NOT in the program list of either the contrl panel uninstaller or Revo
Nvidia Forceware Network Access Manager is not listed in the programs available to be uninstalled. I have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti.
Following the most recent Firefox update, The browser doesn't even open. It attempts to start but fails prior to opening the window. Quick launch, shortcut, programs list and Task manager all had the same results; failure to launch. I attempted to reinstall Firefox and it did launch. I was able to back-up the bookmarks. Then I shut it down and tried to restart it. Unfortunately, the problem immediately resumed.

hi, can you please see if uninstalling firefox 44 first and then installing the 64bit version from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ does solve this issue for you?

What is your computer system and Firefox?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
Some problems occurs when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;
- Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
- Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see
Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}
Thanks for trying. Just as before, it failed to launch.
Is it showing that it is running, but the window is not displayed?
Right click on the icon and select Open New Window. Sometimes this works. If it opens, close it by Menu > File > Exit.

FredMcD: There were three instances of Firefox32 under processes rather than under Applications in Task Manager. Philipp: 64bit seems to have done the trick.
Thanks to both
