I want to put parts (collected groups) of my address book in T Bird onto a flash drive, I export it to downloads and send it to a flash drive , but it's in a format i can't open (ldif)

Use comma separated file instead. It will open with excel. LDIF format is for importing back into email programs. The CSV file can also be imported but the other format works easier for import.
