It first started with the error saying (cannot load xpcom) I tried everything your forums say to do but first off it will not allow me to delete it from my system? It asks permission but then nothing happens? I tried safe mode with networking same thing? Nothing works. Is this a virus? Please help I hate internet explorer. Thanks Bob

Hi, just try a fresh install from here (without attempting to uninstall first), using another browser such as IE.

I sense your anger so hope it will work!

Nope did not work. I get a message at the bottom asking permission to save and just as fast as I click save it says could not and then there is a rentry but that does not work as fast as you click it/ I cannot remove it because it asks permission and then you think it is going to remove it but nothing happens? Please help nothing works and I hate using internut explosion

OK, if it isn't too long since the problem occurred, you could do a Windows System Restore, which is very good at resolving seemingly intractable errors.
