There are several sites where I cannot log in, like bandcamp, twitter, project-gc, facebook My pasword and email are correct, if I use chrome there are no problems at all

I already tried this option: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-login-issues-on-websites-require-passwords

& removed firefox and all ad ons and stuff like that Did a complete clean re-install with no ad ons but that still dont solve the issue

Would really like to use firefox instead of chrome so hopefully someone has an answer on how to fix this

I used the following: Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems: Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

I removed every cookie from my computer and now it works I can login at every site again

What happens, or not, when you try to log in? Are you entering the information, or using the Password Manager?

I am entering the information, click on the login button then it loads the site and then back onto the main page of that site and still not logged in

I get no error at all

The second time via the password manager , login button and stll not logged in

All my passwords and email are correct

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies got corrupted.

  • Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
