I already used Thunderbird with Win XP. Now I have installed Win7 and Thunderbird I don't know how to get my 2 emails transferred to thunderbird. I have read

all the information but can't find this solution. I use Mozilla successfully and installed Thunderbird successfully. Do I have to restart over importing all my yahoo emails all over again or is there a quick and more efficient method? I didn't back up the emails in thunderbird on a stick so don't have them. However, they are all still on Yahoo and I am back to using yahoo in the meantime.

As you have no copies of anything retained from your old machine, and I gather from the tone of your message no way to now make them , then you have no option to start Thunderbird as new by setting up your yahoo account in Thunderbird.
