It's really as simple to explain as what the question asks. When I click on Yahoo, it takes me to Facebook instead, even though Yahoo is set as the destination for that bookmark. I'm only running Ad Block Plus as an add-on, but I don't see how it would affect this since it doesn't do this with any other bookmarks.

Did you try to remove this bookmark and create a new bookmark?

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

I just tried removing the bookmark. It seems that, even when I just type in www.yahoo.com that it ALSO redirects to Facebook. I am perplexed by this conundrum.

Also, when I click a link for Yahoo, it too takes me to Facebook instead.

I don't believe it is Malware at this point.

I ran Malware Bytes and, while it did find quite a few files, it didn't do much after I purged what it found.

It may not help with your immediate problem but your Mindspark toolbar plug-in is a known problem. Search the Search box above or Google for information and advice.
