I am afraid that a virus is attacking my computer through Firefox browser . When I google something and choose an option from the results list instead of what i am looking for ,it appears on my screen a red window that calls for an update of FF because as it says it became vulnerable.

hello, yes this is a phishing tactic that is trying to trick you into installing malware, so don't download or execute this kind of stuff! updates are handled automatically by firefox so you don't have to download anything.

please also do a reset of firefox since some of your extensions look quite suspicious.

you might also want to run a full scan of your system with the security software already in place and different tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & kaspersky security scan in order to make sure that there isn't already some sort of malware active on your system that triggers these false alerts.

You also can cleanup your extensions and uninstall or delete disabled and unneeded extensions that were possibly install globally.

You can uninstall and remove Java Console extensions, you do not need them to run Java applets.
